The Institute for European Traffic Law (IETL) organises European Traffic Law Days every year.
The Institute for European Traffic Law (IETL) is an association which aims to serve research, politics, business and consumer protection in all areas of national and international traffic law. The institute organises congresses, seminars, training course and colloquia in all areas of traffic law, especially the European Traffic Law Days.
The Luxembourg-based IETL brings eminent European traffic law experts together. The institute is dedicated to the study, improvement and further development of the laws relating to mobility in Europe. It is a forum attracting the interest groups most directly concerned by traffic law, thus giving the topics that its members have discussed together particular relevance for the development of traffic law in Europe.
The Swiss National Bureau of Insurance (NBI) and the Swiss National Guarantee Fund (NGF) are founding members of the IETL. NBI & NGF are supportive of the activities of the IETL.
