Claims Regulations

The competence to settle claims according to art. 74 et seq. and 76 et seq. SVG  and the power to represent the NBI and NGF require the signing of the „Swiss Interclaims Agreement“. By signing the agreement, representatives commit themselves to comply with the provisions within the Claims Regulations of the NBI and NGF. The role of a representative of the NBI and NGF can be assumed by a member company, the managing insurer or a claim handling company.

The Claims Regulations of the NBI & NGF came into force on 1 May 2009.
