The annual contributions for motorcycles will be reduced to CHF 1.40, while those for heavy motor vehicles will increase to CHF 12.60. The contributions for light motor vehicles will remain unchanged at CHF 4.20. The contributions are levied per vehicle and year.<\/p><p>The changes were necessary because the claims expenditure for motorcycles has decreased and that for heavy motor vehicles has increased. The adjustment therefore takes into account the actual claims development in the respective vehicle categories.
